The Kiss FM Kids Create The Music Foundation is made up of a volunteer collective Board, brought together by Suna Thomas, a mother of a young musician who had a vision for creating the first Middle School House Band at Kinard Middle School. After successfully putting together the middle School club and funding it for its first year, she turned her thoughts to the future and the need for this opportunity at more schools for more kids. She inspired a group of local Northern Colorado business leaders, community members and music industry professionals to band together and raise the funds necessary to broaden the reach of the program, hence the creation of the Kids Create the Music Foundation. Our purpose is to assist in the formation and implentation of the House Band Club throughout middle schools in Northern Colorado, providing a successful template and the funds necessary to culture and grow talented young musicians in order to enhance the local music scene.
